As is the reality in the game of Clue, anybody can be a murderer. Sometimes it’s a guessing game up until the very end. You may not be sure who did it, how they achieved their scandalous act, what their weapon of choice was, or what room they prefered the bloodshed to take place in, but the crime did happen, and somebody has to pay the price.
Clue teaches you that you could be in the company of crazed serial killer at any time and just because they’re beautiful like Miss Scarlet, it doesn’t mean that they aren’t capable of committing a heinous crime.
Like the game of clue has pointed out, anybody can do it, so this doesn’t exclude celebrities. Here are some juicy examples of celebrities that were caught for scandalous crime!
Mark Wahlberg
Apparently in his teens, Mark Wahlberg was a drug dealer and was also charged with attempted murder. Wahlberg is the youngest of 9 children. When he was young, his family lived in a three bedroom apartment. Wahlberg dropped out of school when he was in his early teens and was part of a gang where he apparently had run-ins with the law over 20 times.
Things got out of control when Wahlberg assaulted two Vietnamese men for no reason and actually blinded one of the men during the assault. Thank goodness no actual murder was committed, and there wasn’t a lot of blood to clean up.
Interestingly enough, the charge of attempted murder was later reduced to criminal contempt, but it doesn’t change the fact that Wahlberg did some pretty terrible things in his youth. Hopefully the fame and influence he has now has given him the ability to do good for the world instead of cause harm.
Lindsay Lohan
It really seems that stardom does thing to people, especially if they were exposed to the spotlight at a young age. Lindsay Lohan is no exception. There are honestly almost too many crimes to count on this starlet’s record.
The charges range from assault, to multiple drunk driving offenses, to drug use, to missing court dates. The lady obviously has some issues, but can anybody really blame her when she was made famous and given crazy sums of money at such a young age?
Though only two hollywood stars were detailed, the list of celebrities goes on to include people like Robert Downey Jr., Charlie Sheen, Woody Harrelson, R Kelly, Jay-Z and dozens more. Some offenses are far worse than others, but a crime is a crime.
Just because someone is famous doesn’t mean they should be able to avoid proper punishment for their actions. In any regard, let’s hope that the people mentioned on this list and the many more who committed dirty deeds learned from their mistakes and now used their celebrity status to make the world a better place.
