The owners, Chiara and Fabio Conti, were born and raised in Verona, part of Norhern Italy. Fabio moved to Mexico, where he ran a beachfront restaurant with his brother, before moving to Los Angeles. Chiara worked for many restaurants and bars in Verona. When she moved to the United States, she brought her love for cooking with her.
